Many practitioners consider the role of occlusion, to be the single most important factor in dentistry especially during complete denture construction. The reasonable philosophy of complete denture occlusion must address comfort, function and esthetic as primary needs for the patient. The scheme of occlusion is considered to be important factor affecting denture stability and function efficiency. This study was carried out to measure stresses transmitted to maxillary edentulous ridge by complete denture with three different prosthetic approaches for establishing balanced occlusion.
